Solving the Jura Question would be considered ‘referendumitis’ in Britain.

In the UK having more than one referendum on a subject is considered ‘referendumitis’ – a sickness to be avoided at all costs.

However Bruno Kaufmann’s article cross posted here shows why a more holistic view is needed and why the UK should be prepared to embrace a series of referendums if that is the right way forward. I point out to people that there have already been three referendums on Scotland in 35 years but sadly not part of any considered sequence. And another not impossible.
